starved rock

Saturday was a wonderful day of hiking at Starved Rock. I wish I could go back right now even though it's a two hour drive. The weather ended up being sunny and ~75 degrees. I couldn't have asked for more. We hiked probably six miles. If I had a car, I would definitely go more often. I love Chicago, but Illinois is extremely flat and I miss having easy access to hiking trails. Conundrum.
