It's fun to wander around the art store when you know you don't have to spend close to $100 on model supplies that will be cut up, glued, and then thrown away a few days or weeks later. I just got back from such a trip to the art store. I bought a vellum mat for my studio desk, a schnazy mechanical pencil and a sleeve for my laptop, since I haven't had one for the past year and saw the damage I am capable of doing. Speaking of damage and money...I have to take yet another entrance interview for a student loan due to some change or another in federal guidelines. The "interview" isn't even an interview. Essentially, it's an online quiz, making sure you read about how you're signing your income away for the next twenty years. I kind of wish I could just be mugged and have the financial trauma over with. Short and sweet.
