I'm super excited that Rainier cherries are in season. I've already devoured a bag-full in the last day. If you haven't tried them, I highly recommend doing so. They're only in season for a short period of time (4-8 weeks), so they cost a bit more than regular cherries. Also of excitement is the Chicago Sidewalk Sale taking place in Daley Plaza tomorrow and Wednesday from 10AM-3PM. "The Department of Cultural Affairs gathers more than a dozen local designers of clothing, hats, jewelry, beadwork, shoes, and bags for this second annual event. Boutiques like 1154 LILL Studio and Florodora will also be selling their wares, and there's a fashion show at noon each day."
