working for the weekend

I've now worked 44 hours this week and it isn't even Friday yet. I had lunch with a good friend from school today and that was lovely! I only had half of my D.C. chicken salad sandwich, so the other half ended up being dinner. Good thing. I was the last one to leave the office tonight.

My good deed for today was cleaning up after a big, all-day meeting. The employees in the meeting were kind enough to bring all of the messy dishes into the kitchen from the conference room, but you can only imagine how many glasses and coffee mugs were there. I felt bad that the receptionist would have to come in to that in the morning, so I unloaded the dishwasher, packed it again and started the wash cycle. Presto, clean-o.
