couch-warming

A fabulous time was had by many at D + E's couch-warming party this afternoon. I only saw one person actually sitting in the red couch, but it looked cushy and welcoming. Most people, including myself, headed for the back lawn. The lawn chairs were all occupied, but I was more than happy to sit in the grass. I took off my sandals, ate a yummy veggie burger with a side of pasta salad and caught up with some people I hadn't seen in a while. Later, I went back for a plate of dessert. There was a wide variety of choices, my apple tart among them, so I had to do my part by sampling.
