I adopted a new cat last night and I got to bring her home today. She has a slight cold, but is settling in nicely otherwise. Once she's feeling better, she can meet the other lady feline of the house. Madeline is a seven-year old tabby who was given up to the Anti-Cruelty Society when her previous owners could no longer afford to care for her. I hope I can give her an environment where she feels safe and loved for.

On a weird side note, I heard an ice cream truck go by while I was typing this. The truck's jingle was "Silent Night." Odd choice. Certainly grabbed my attention though.
