mumbai studio

I found out on Wednesday that I was short-listed for a special, traveling studio (a "tall and green" project in Mumbai) for next semester. The project is a residential/social housing one. The site is located in the Sea Ward of Mumbai. This area is evidently being taken down to the ground and being rebuilt. This isn't exactly the best solution to the problem of slums, but it is the one the local organization is taking nonetheless.

I had to participate in a group interview for the studio this afternoon. It was rather intense and the director of the program has so much energy. He's one of those people where you almost sense his energy when he isn't even talking.
