fall "break"

Fall break is two days without classes, which the university grants students during the second or third week of October. What it really becomes though is catch-up on work time and not so much of a break. This morning, I caught up on one important thing and that was getting some groceries in my fridge again. Then I went into work, and later in the evening took a breather to go see the Daniel Burnham exhibit at the Art Institute. The exhibit featured some beautiful watercolor plans of Chicago, which I found quite impressive artistically. However, I was disappointed when I came to realize that the exhibit is being shown in a series of five rotations. Each rotation consists of about 10 works, so as usual, there isn't much to see in the architecture wing.
