I'm very much looking forward to helping with Chicago Cares Celebration of Service tomorrow morning. This is an annual event, which is always scheduled for the weekend preceding Martin Luther King Jr. Day. It's a wonderful event and this will be my third year helping. Of course, Michelle Obama has helped bring a lot of new attention to the National Day of Service, which takes place on Monday, 19 January (on the holiday).If you aren't already a part of a service event on Monday and are able to contribute your time, please consider lending your hands in honor of MLK Jr. and in support of positive change in our country. You can find events in your local area to participate in through Obama's Renew America Together web page.
